5 Month Birthday

What a week! We have learned and accomplished so much in the past week. I have to tell everything. Last weekend we went to Mason's first Baseball game and he loved it. He flirted with all the girls and was so content outside. We also started eating all of our veggies this week. So far there hasn't been anything that Mason doesn't like...imagine that! Peas, Green Beans, Carrots, Oatmeal and Squash are now in our everyday lives! It's messy, but it's fun. This week we also sat in a restaurant high chair for the first time. We didn't last the whole meal, but did better than expected. Mason also thinks everytime a spoon moves near him he should open his mouth..so of course he was given yogurt from Jason's Deli, and loved it :) We also got Mason a swing for the back yard and he really enjoys it. I can already tell how nice it is going to be to spend time outdoors with him. Today is his five month birthday and in honor of that I sat him up like a big boy in the HEB cart. He was pretty wobbly and I had to tie him in well, but he loved it! I also had to be really careful to not make turns too fast..I learned this the hard way :) Ha, he was like "mom...I've fallen, please slow down!" It is going to be much easier to shop with him like this, since he hates his carrier so much. We are almost in size 3 diapers, which makes me happy because Sam's has them and they are so much cheaper there. Right now we are eating a full 7 ounce bottle and then our veggies for each meal. I think he will need to start sliming down on the formula amounts and eating more real food, but I really don't know so I'm just going with whatever works right now. Mason will eat and drink as much as you give him though, so that's where my confusion comes in. Most babies will stop, Mason not so much :) Easter is this weekend and I still don't know what he's wearing, but I also think he will be just fine and cute in whatever he puts on that morning!
