Date with Mason

I told Mason this afternoon that I thought his baseball practice may be canceled bc of the wind storm that came in. His response: "mommy well that's great because I really wanted to take you on a date!" 

Go ahead and melt my heart honey. Oh he's sweet. He loves alone time with me and knows just how and when to take me out. He opens doors, he uses his manners, he simply wants to be with me and only me. What a blessing these times are. He assured me that when he's in High school he will still take me on dates. Gosh I hope so. This wasn't our first date and surely not the last. Thankful for his sweetness.
