It was finally time for our Dallas Friends Trip. We were supposed to go to Lake Granbury but the house had to have renovations from the recent tornado so my crew just headed to Dallas for a weekend there. Friday night we all went to the Bernardo's and had a bbq. It was a very full house but it was wonderful to see everything and play with all of our new babies, and see all of the baby bumps! Our little crew is quickly changing! We've already planned to find a few good nannies to take on vacation with us in the future :) That night we stayed at the Walsh's. Saturday was Four Season's pool day! The Bernardo's are members there and we got a villa for Saturday night. We all met at the pool and although the water was so freezing that the boys didn't even really want to get in it, we all had a good day. We ended the day sitting outside on the lawn of the villa eating pizza. The view there is amazing and we really do love this hotel. Sunday morning the boys played golf. So that left me to entertain my little boys for the morning. Luckily I had brought Sutton's stroller so it was easier for me to get around. This hotel is very big and spread out. I did the buffet breakfast with them! Yes, I did this by myself and we all survived and didn't get thrown out :) It is difficult to fill a buffet plate with Sutton on your hip and Mason running around though! After breakfast we headed to their little playground, and I say little because it really isn't cool at all. Haha. I think I should start designing playground furniture, because this one was crappy. We watched some people play tennis and mason thought that was super cool. We then headed back to the hotel room and I packed and got us straightened up and then I headed to the pool. We went to the adult pool bc Ryon was about done with golf, and Mason did a good job of swimming by himself quietly by the stairs where I needed him to be. Sutton made fast friends as always. Mason kept wanting to dry off in the sunshine so would go to the other side of the pool and get on the chair and get all situated and lounge for a bit. He entertained everyone for awhile. Once daddy got off the golf course it was decided we just needed to stay another night :) I kinda figured that was coming and I didn't really want to leave either. We switched into a normal room, which was still big and had an amazing view. We stayed at the pool the rest of the day with Daniel and Kristi, and Micala and Frankie. Sutton ended up sleeping for a few hours on the lawn chair and Mason was out at 5:00. We'd been there since 11 so he was a tired boy. He would have probably slept all night if we had let him. Ryon went to get Taco Bueno for us and we camped out in our room. We took some cute family pictures and had a fun night. It was a wonderful weekend. We always enjoy our trips to Dallas. We wish we were closer but we are really good about making the effort to still all see each other. I can't wait to get all these babies a little bit more grown up and take an adult only trip with everyone!
