Developments

Mason is growing up so fast. This past week he has realized that when he's on his stomach on his mat, his fingernails make a "neat" sound when scratching them on the mat....not so great for my ears, but once he realized this, he does it all the time now. He has also started to really pull himself up while sitting with us eating. He pulls his head up as if to sit up straighter. We are also beginning to find our feet. He doesn't really know they are attached quite yet, but we are very close :) Throughout the day, as he lays down I pull his arms to sit up so he learns the movement, but instead of sitting he keeps his legs super straight and stands instead. He also LOVES the television. He will crank his head all the way around so he can watch it. He is very strong and stands much more than he sits up. Most importantly, he's a happy baby. He usually has a smile on his face and just wants to see the world. He really knows Ryon and I and that is the best feeling in the world to walk up when he's with others and see how much happier he gets when I'm close. I think he's going to start teething really soon as well, since all we do these days is drool...yuck!
