Mason the SEVEN year old!

Mason, our sweet 7 year old! He has grown so much this past year. He has become even more of the best big brother ever since Coryell has arrived and I'm so thankful for him each day. He knows just how to make Callahan laugh and be crazy...which can annoy mama...but Callahan absolutely loves everything Mason does. We are rocking first grade more than I could ever have imagined. To date, Mason has taken 80 Accelerated Reading Tests. More than anyone in his class by far and gets a 100 on nearly every single one. Every day I pick him up he has a gummy worm in his mouth because he's made another 100. I'm just so proud of his determination and competiveness. He wants to be in the Star Club so very badly and is starting to read chapter books to get there. He's made a lot of great friends this year too. We just started basketball season and he did great at his first game. He is really handling the ball well and starting to execute his shots. I'm excited about his love for the game and his skill level. We are playing with several boys from his class so it'll be a fun season. Mason is also still loving everything about climbing, being with dad, being creative with Sutton and loving on Coryell. He loves to make his siblings laugh and he's great at it! We are waiting on three lose teeth to fall out any day now. He's really growing, eating well, and becoming such a good sweet hearted boy. We celebrated his 7th Birthday with an afterschool trip to go bowling. We shared the birthday celebration with Ryan Branco. His mom and I picked up 16 little boys and did bowling and back to our house for cake, pizza and play time. It was an afternoon of survival for us mamas, but the boys had a blast! He also got a special outing with TK and Rick of shopping, dinner at luigi's and a sleep over. He loves his special alone time with TK and Rick and it's really sweet to see their relationship grow. For Christmas they gave him a new basketball goal which he loves and spends most of his time at. We also got the boys their first bb gun and a nintendo switch.
