Yep, I'm going to write about myself. It's been a month or so since I've written anything and now I'm going to be selfish and just write about myself! SO after having four children in the last 6 years life has been busy and hectic and overwhelming at times. It has also meant that I went from very independent to "just a mom." Being a mom is all I have ever wanted to do and I don't take one day for granted that I get to spend my days being just a mom. I'm thankful God made Ryon for me because he supports and loves me being a mama. But then again...isn't there more to life a little bit?! I have been itching for something, just something, anything, to just be for me. To get me excited, to contribute to the family a bit, to just give me a little bit of happiness outside of the house. So, I finally got brave and created enough time for myself at the computer to educate myself on Sports Photography. We all know I love my pictures, I take all our kids pictures and have them all over the house. So I made some time to research and download the program needed to do some individual and team sports. With the help of some good friends and sports mamas I created my packages and did a little advertising. AND I DID IT. I'm pretty proud of myself. I photographed my first team last week, created my order, and actually got paid to do something that is really fun for me. I won't make a million dollars or probably even pay our grocery bill, but it was fun and something just for me. And I loved it. SO I'm pretty excited about doing a few teams here and there. I also had a meeting with the Midland Christian School College Counselor last week about helping her out with MCS Students and the college process. This has always been something I have loved ever since I worked for Texas Tech and I feel that God opened up a huge door for me with my meeting this week. I'm looking forward to volunteering and working and helping our students. I also took the time last week to go to the club and hit tennis balls. I haven't hit a ball since high school probably and it felt amazing. I have always loved the sport and it felt so great to do something I used to be really great at again. I look forward to more time on the court now that school is in session for all four kids! So that's all about me. I feel like I have a few really fun things going for me and it's pretty exciting.
