We were able to go to Escondido with the Bennett's again this past weekend. Shea and Conner, Melanie's cousin, also came with their boys. We were so thankful that our schedules worked out for us to go before baby arrived. On our way we stopped and ate at The Spread in Brady. Loved finally seeing Mandy and Shaun's restaurant. Friday when we arrived we unloaded and headed to meet everyone at the Lake Club Pool. The boys immediately jumped in and Sutton swam awesome. We cooked out that night, stayed up too late and all slept great. The boys raced each other in swimming races all night. My favorite was when Mason raced Sutton and let him win. He was so sweet. He let Sutton jump in first, get going, and then kinda kept watching him out of his goggles to be sure Sutton would get there before him. Sutton was SO proud of himself and I was proud of Mason for realizing how much that would mean to his brother. We stayed in the casita and it was great. Saturday morning the dad's headed to the golf course. It was a bit rainy but they still got a full round in and Ryon really enjoyed his time on the course. We loaded up all 6 boys on the golf cart and went to the pool and the dad's met up with us afterwards. It rained lightly a lot during the day but nothing kept us out of the water. Our kids are fish. Sutton loved being one of the big boys this year and really got to enjoy the pool. Once back home it just meant more swimming, hot tub for Ryon, Melanie and Shea, cooking dinner, and having good conversation. I'm thankful for good friends and making fun memories with them.
