This morning I watched the Today Show...imagine that!...and it was all about how writing love letters is a thing of the past. Instead we rely on emails, and texts to show our love. So eventhough this letter is being typed and not handwritten, I think it will work.
Dear Ryon,
I can't thank you enough for the life you have given to Mason and I. As I think back to the day we met, May 2007, never did I imagine my life would be the way it is today just 4 short years later. What is it about you that makes me spontaneous? Getting engaged after 6 short months????? Moving to Midland in two weeks after your job offer, just 3 weeks before our wedding???? Deciding after New Years 2008 to buy a home and being under contract 10 days later? And then there's your New Years Resolution of 2010 to have a baby...and I just agree so easily. Life and love are easy with you. Not at all scary or stressful. It's been easy from day 1. Life with you is simply just better. Whether we are on vacation wining and dining ourselves, sitting on our couch eating hamburger pie, or just grabbing wings and beer, I love you a bit more each moment I get to share with you. Yesterday we shared the anniversary of being in our home for 2 years and what a wonderful day it was. As I sat in the jeep next to you holding the most precious little boy and holding onto Bradley on our ride, I thanked God for sharing you with me. I pray that Mason grows up to be just like you. To have your heart, your child nature, your love of Rap :) , and your kindness. You are a wonderful man and on this Valentine's Day, I love you. And your beautiful son.
